 Where Healing Begins With a Place To Call Home

Arbor House was established in 2008 as personal care homes. This program was inspired by a vast number of elderly and disabled individuals being discharged from hospitals or leaving their family home needing assistance with their daily living.  Since then, as a mental health counselor Dante Charles noticed the disparity of adult men and women who were struggling with mental health and various developmental disabilities.  Dante has also facilitated many trainings to help special education instructors and other professionals to understand the science behind the behaviors and how to effectively teach behavioral therapy.

 

Dante Charles was disheartened by the poor conditions members of this population were living in and realized that he and his team must answer the call to put forth skills and resources to provide a better level of clinical housing while assisting in mental health healing, physical disability and healthy coping and recovery. 

 

As a former program director and behavior therapist of a private behavioral mental health agency, there was no way I could fully meet the needs of deserving families without addressing the need for proper housing and the important need for social involvement, life skills and group therapy. All with the purpose of exposing these individuals to a better way of life.  This gave birth to the clinical housing program and Care Home Facilities, Arbor House and Arbor House Manor, all under the umbrella of Arbor House Healing LLC. 

 

We pride ourselves off the level of comfort through clinical housing and services we provide to individuals with various special needs. We are proof that the environment is a great part of the healing. The level of care and compassion i have for all of our clients, I am hands on and very much involved in the operations of my company. It is important

to me that the sons, daughters, mothers, grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts and uncles know that I truly

care about their health and well being.
